With BlizzCon 2007 is open and running and today World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King was announced as the new expansion for Blizzard's popular MMORPG WoW. As the name suggests, the expansion will focus on the Lich King Arthas and his frozen kingdom of Northrend. New zones, items, and quests will come with the package, as well as a new class: the Death Knights.
News in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King
- New continent: Northrend
- Destructible buildings
- Siege weapons
- New profession: Inscription
- Changeable hairstyles

- New dungeons

- New items
- Level cap raised to 80
Destructable buildings
The new PVP battlegrounds warfare will focus on sieges, adding destructible buildings. Characters will have access to new dance moves and hairstyles, and players will now be able to change their character's hairdo.
Dungeons, raids and a new profession
Wrath of the Lich King will also include 5-player dungeons, 10- and 25-player raids, plus a new profession, Inscription, that permanently enhances a players spells and abilities.
"This expansion will add some of the most infamous characters and settings from the Warcraft universe to World of Warcraft, In addition to new story content, Wrath of the Lich King will introduce a number of features specifically requested by players over the past couple of years.
